Get expert-supervised acupuncture treatments at a fraction of the cost — and help train the next generation of practitioners.
Our student clinic is where 3rd and 4th-year graduate students at Wongu University gain hands-on clinical experience treating real patients under the direct supervision of faculty supervisors — all highly trained acupuncturists and herbalists.
Wongu medical interns practice under direct supervision, providing patient-centered health care that integrates Western and Eastern medicine protocols to address the overall quality of health in every patient. Every diagnosis is reviewed. Every treatment plan is approved. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities.
Because our interns are completing educational requirements, we're able to offer treatments at reduced rates — with intern initial visits at $80 (vs. $120 for OMD) and follow-ups at $50 (vs. $80 for OMD).

Select "Student Clinic" when booking through our Unified Practice portal. Complete your intake forms digitally before arriving — no paper forms or medical data on our website.
Your intern will conduct a thorough health intake, including traditional diagnostic methods. Their supervising OMD will review the findings and approve the treatment plan.
Your intern performs the acupuncture (and any additional modalities) under direct OMD oversight. Initial intern visits typically run 1.5 to 2 hours, while follow-up sessions are about 1 hour — giving your intern time to be thorough and attentive.
After your session, your intern and supervisor will discuss next steps, answer questions, and recommend a treatment frequency tailored to your needs and goals.
Absolutely. Here's why you can feel confident choosing our teaching clinic.
A licensed Oriental Medicine Doctor is physically present and directly supervises every treatment. They review all diagnoses and approve all treatment plans before any needles are placed.
Our interns have completed hundreds of hours of coursework in anatomy, acupuncture theory, Chinese herbal medicine, and clinical safety before ever treating patients.
Our clinic meets all Nevada health department standards. We use single-use, sterile, disposable needles, and follow strict sanitation and infection control protocols.
Interns are trained to be thorough, communicative, and gentle. Because they're learning, they often take more time and care than practitioners in busy private practices.

Our student clinic is more than affordable care — it's an investment in the future of healthcare in Southern Nevada. Every patient visit helps train the next generation of integrated healthcare professionals through Wongu's MD-OMD Unified Medical Clinic.
The program also supports a scholarship pathway to increase the number of qualified practitioners serving our community, expanding both clinical capacity and access to care for underserved populations across the Las Vegas Valley.
