Student Clinic

Affordable acupuncture and Oriental medicine care from supervised graduate interns, with every treatment plan reviewed by a licensed OMD.

Supervised intern care with more time, lower cost, and OMD oversight.

Our student clinic is where 3rd and 4th-year graduate students at Wongu University gain hands-on clinical experience treating real patients under the direct supervision of faculty supervisors — all highly trained acupuncturists and herbalists.

Wongu graduate interns practice under direct supervision, providing patient-centered acupuncture and Oriental medicine care. Every diagnosis is reviewed. Every treatment plan is approved. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities.

What to Expect at Your Student Clinic Visit

The process is simple, supervised, and designed to give your intern enough time to be thorough.

Request Your Appointment

Use our online request form or call (702) 852-1280. Mention the Student Clinic in your request. We'll confirm within 24 business hours (Mon–Fri) — no medical intake forms or health records collected on this website. Your full health history is taken in person at your appointment.

Meet Your Intern & Supervisor

Your intern will conduct a thorough health intake, including traditional diagnostic methods. Their supervising OMD will review the findings and approve the treatment plan.

Receive Your Treatment

Your intern performs the acupuncture (and any additional modalities) under direct OMD oversight. Initial intern visits typically run 1.5 to 2 hours, while follow-up sessions are about 1 hour — giving your intern time to be thorough and attentive.

Follow-Up & Plan

After your session, your intern and supervisor will discuss next steps, answer questions, and recommend a treatment frequency tailored to your needs and goals.

Is the Student Clinic Safe?

Absolutely. Here's why you can feel confident choosing our teaching clinic.

Direct OMD Supervision

A licensed Oriental Medicine Doctor is physically present and directly supervises every treatment. They review all diagnoses and approve all treatment plans before any needles are placed.

Rigorous Academic Training

Our interns have completed hundreds of hours of coursework in anatomy, acupuncture theory, Chinese herbal medicine, and clinical safety before ever treating patients.

Sterile, Modern Facility

Our clinic meets all Nevada health department standards. We use single-use, sterile, disposable needles, and follow strict sanitation and infection control protocols.

Patient-Centered Approach

Interns are trained to be thorough, communicative, and gentle. Because they're learning, they often take more time and care than practitioners in busy private practices.
